The course provides an individual tutor and prepares you for the public exam in Norwegian level B1.
You can study at your own pace and level with the aim of learning Norwegian at an intermediate level.
Your Norwegian language skills should be on level A2 before you start this Norwegian B1 course. You should also have access to people outside the course with whom you can practice Norwegian. It is possible to combine this course with full-time or part-time work or training.

Price: NOK 4400
Duration: You have access to the course for 120 days from the day you sign up.
Study hours: You should expect to spend about 60 hours to complete the course. However, the time participants spend on Norwegian B1 varies a lot and depends on how much Norwegian they know before they start.
Course material included in the course price: Norwegian B1 includes access to the online resources at Veien inn B1 (Min vei, Fagbokforlaget), individual follow-up and supervision, access to extra materials and you will have tests like written exercises with full feedback, you will also have video chat and other digital communication opportunities in order to help students to connect with other participants who are taking the course and you will get a place to chat and help each other through out your learning session.
Prerequisites: You should be on level A2 before you start Norwegian B1.
Feedback and certification: Each study unit has an assignment that the teacher comments and assesses. When all required coursework is completed, you will receive a personal course badge as shown in the illustration. If you like, you can share your badge on LinkedIn, Facebook etc.
Exam Norwegian B1
Here you will find information about the current exam: Norskprøve – can be submitted on several levels. Level B1 is applicable after this course.

Personal: Family relationships and housing
Public: Norway before and now, the welfare society, culture, values and media.
Training: Subjects in basic education, the education system and lifelong learning
Work: Job market, job search and work environment
